The City of Toronto’s New Year’s Eve celebrations will be heading online for another year.
The city will ring in 2022 with a livestream that can be viewed safely at home, with pre-recorded performances from venues across the city.
There will be a fireworks display on the waterfront but the city will hold off on fireworks at the CN Tower and Nathan Phillips Square this year. The city says the waterfront fireworks will viewable “from anywhere with views of Lake Ontario.”
