إصابة شرطيين خلال البحث عن شخص مفقود

تعرض شرطيين للطعن خلال محاولة جميع معلومات من أحد المساكن المشتركة في تورنتو بعد أن وصلت إليهم بعض البلاغات عن المفقود واحتمال تعرضه للأذى
بالرغم من ذهاب الشرطة مساء أمس إلا أنهم اضطروا للعودة في الصباح عند الحادية عشرة وبمجرد أن حاولوا الحديث لمن بالداخل فوجئوا بأحد الأشخاص يخرج ومعه سكينا قام بطعن الشرطيين بعد مهاجمتهم حيث أصاب أحد الشرطيين إصابات بالغة بينما كانت إصابة الآخر أقل شدة
بالرغم من أن الشرطيين تعرضا للطعن إلا أنهما لم يطلقا النار من سلاحيهما وإنما تمكنا من السيطرة على الجاني باستخدام ( تيزر) قبل أن تصل تعزيزات وسيارات الإسعاف حيث تم نقل الشرطيين للمستشفى لعلاجهما من تلك الطعنات غير المتوقعة
wo officers were transported to hospital via emergency run and a man is in custody following an altercation and knife attack in Etobicoke.
Officers responded to a check address call around 11 a.m. at a residence on Westona Street, a rooming house with six apartments, near Royal York and Lawrence Avenue West.
Police chief James Ramer says the officers were at the residence investigating reports of a missing person where a man allegedly emerged from a room inside the residence and attacked the two officers with a knife.
The suspect was apprehended by use of a taser and was later arrested at the scene. Ramer says it’s not believed the man suffered any injuries as a result.
